Privacy policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Covalent Connection® collects, why, where it is stored and what you can do about it. We have written it in plain English. If anything is unclear, email us at [email protected].

1. Who we are

Covalent Connection® is a dating coaching business run by Georgia Izzat, Faerberstrasse 35, 8008 Zürich, Switzerland. We are responsible for your personal data as described in this policy.

Contact for anything to do with your data: [email protected]

2. What we collect and why

Visiting our website

  • What: when you visit, our website platform automatically records technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page you came from and the time of your visit
  • Why: to deliver the website to you, keep it secure and fix problems
  • We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are visited and for how long, and Google Search Console to see how people find us through Google search. More on this under Cookies and analytics below

Contact form and booking a call

  • What: your name, email address, phone number and anything you tell us in the form
  • Why: to reply to you and send you a link to book a complimentary call

Newsletter

  • What: your name and email address, and which emails you open or click
  • Why: to send you occasional notes on dating and relationships. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email

Coaching applications and programme forms

  • What: your answers about your dating life, relationship status, goals and past relationships
  • Why: to understand whether coaching is a good fit and to prepare for working together

Complimentary tools: Your Core Five and Your Partner Profile

  • While you use the tools, your answers are saved only in your own browser, so you can continue where you left off. We do not receive them
  • If you choose to email your results to yourself, we store your name, email address and your results: your values and your own descriptions of them, the values you added, your Need, Nice and No-go lists, and a personal link to your results
  • Why: to send you your results, a short series of follow-up emails about using them, and our newsletter. We also look at anonymised totals, for example which values people choose most, to improve the tools

For clients: the Partner Scorecard

  • The Partner Scorecard is part of our coaching programmes and is available to clients only
  • It asks for a first name or nickname for each person you date, never a surname or photo. Please do not enter anything that would identify them
  • What we store: your scores for each date (how it felt, which of your Needs you saw, whether a No-go came up and what you noticed), so you and Georgia can review them together
  • Why: to support your coaching. We use your scorecards only in our work with you

Clients and purchases

  • What: your contact details, details of what you bought, and notes from our coaching sessions
  • Why: to deliver the coaching or course you signed up for and to meet our legal and accounting obligations

3. Sensitive personal data

Some of what you share with us may be sensitive personal data, for example your religious or spiritual beliefs, or details about your relationships and intimate life. We only collect this when you choose to share it, and we ask for your explicit consent before storing answers from our tools. The Partner Scorecard may also include information about people you date. We keep this to a first name or nickname and your own observations, and use it only to support you. We use it only for the purposes above and never share it for marketing. Your answers in our tools are never sent to Google Analytics.

4. The legal basis for using your data

We process personal data in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We rely on:

  • Your consent, for example for the newsletter, for storing your tool results and, where the law requires it, for analytics cookies. You can withdraw it at any time
  • Our contract with you, when you are a client
  • Our legitimate interest in running, securing and improving our business, for example replying to enquiries and understanding how our website is used
  • Legal obligations, for example keeping accounting records

5. Who we share your data with

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business:

  • Kajabi (USA): hosts our website, forms, courses and emails, and stores the data described above
  • Calendly (USA): lets you book a call with us
  • Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, USA): provides Google Analytics and Google Search Console

These providers process your data on our behalf and may only use it to provide their service to us.

6. Transfers outside Switzerland

Kajabi, Calendly and Google may store data in the United States. When your data is transferred there, we rely on the safeguards these providers offer under Swiss and EU law, such as the Swiss-US and EU-US Data Privacy Frameworks where the provider is certified, or standard contractual clauses.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technology that our website platform needs to work, for example to keep you logged in.

Google Analytics. With your consent where required, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are popular and how people arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, your device and browser, and your approximate location (country or city). Google Analytics does not store your full IP address. We use this information only in aggregated form to improve our website, and we have not enabled Google advertising features. You can decline analytics cookies, delete them in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can read more in Google's privacy policy.

Google Search Console. This shows us how our website appears in Google search results, for example which search terms lead people to us. It does not place cookies on our website and gives us aggregated information only.

Our complimentary tools save your answers in your browser's local storage, so your progress is not lost. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings or by choosing "Start over" in the tool.

8. How long we keep your data

  • Newsletter and tool results: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them
  • Contact form and applications: up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a client
  • Client records, including Partner Scorecards: for as long as we work together, and afterwards as long as the law requires us to keep accounting records (usually ten years in Switzerland). You can ask us to delete your scorecards at any time
  • Google Analytics data: up to 14 months

9. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy
  • Correct data that is wrong
  • Delete your data
  • Stop sending you marketing emails
  • Withdraw a consent you have given

Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, your local data protection authority.

10. Keeping your data safe

Our website uses an encrypted (SSL/TLS) connection, so information you send us through forms is protected in transit. We use reputable providers with appropriate security measures, limit access to your data to what is needed, and treat everything you share in coaching as confidential. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
